Counseling today for a better tomorrow
Counseling today for a better tomorrow
Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. Our treatment processes are aimed at helping a diverse population and encompass individuals age 4 through late adulthood. We currently accept Medicaid, Medicare, Sooner Select, Oklahoma Complete Health, Aetna, BCBS, Humana, and private pay options.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
Emotions can be hard for children to process. Counseling can help a child understand and process their emotions while learning how to interact with their environment in positive ways.
Approximately 1 in 5 youth aged 13–18 (21.4%) experiences a severe mental disorder at some point during their life. For children aged 8–15, the estimate is 13%. (National Alliance of Mental Health)
Unfortunately, suicide is a concern with children. Our team works with parents and the child to find the best prevention and intervention needed to help a child realize their potential and make healthy plans for the future.
As individuals in an increasingly unpredictable society, it's easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged. It is no different for children who are continually trying to maintain a healthy social life while not falling prey to peer pressure, bullying, and the demands of everyday life. Individual counseling gives children a chance to slow down and process events in their life in a safe comfortable environment so that they leave session with confidence and hope.
Family Counseling is offered in conjunction with individual counseling to strengthen and maintain the functioning of the family unit. Parenting is a struggle with today's busy schedules. Family counseling can offer guidance to parents who want to take one more step in making sure they are providing for their children in the best possible way and at the same time build confidence in their own parenting style.
Children don't want to feel alone and misunderstood. Group gives a child a chance to make that special connection with other children who struggle with some of the same issues. It gives a child a chance to feel heard, understood, and a part group working together to make sense of their world.
